Imagine, Make. Learn, Create.

Fabricaciones is a Crafts Workshop & Classroom in Santiago, Chile.

Most of my blog posts are about things I make, in fact this blog used to be called “This Was Made By Me”, but what I make is quite broadly defined.  You’ll find dressmaking, quilting, jewellery making, cookery, papercrafts and other random stuff.  Another big part of the blog is our garden.  We live in the most fantastic house here in Santiago, set in a garden with 20 fruit trees and I love to write posts about what is happening as the seasons pass.  Someday I hope to add photos and (ahem) actually publish the huge numbers of fruit harvest posts sitting in draft!  Our menagerie gets the odd mention too, we are almost overrun with pets, including our lovely dog, cats, chickens, turtles, etc, etc. I love to read your comments, and please link to your own blog so I can get to know you too!

I teach sewing, knitting, crochet, jewellery making & paper crafts.  Sewing classes run regularly, but please get in touch if you are interested in learning any other crafts.

You might see me at one or two craft fairs a year around Santiago selling my own work, and I am always happy to accept commissions for custom gifts, clothing and knitwear.

Please email sewing.stgo*at* or call +569 9084-2377 for more information.

  2. Hello, I am interested in a sewing class coming up soon. I have a very little experience sewing, but have a new sewing machine that I would like to use. Please let me know if anything is coming up.

    • There’s a 5 week class starting tomorrow! Or the next session will start first week of October.
