Bugger. I’m on row 17 of Chanson en Crochet and I’m going to have to frog back to row 13. I knew there were errata on this pattern, but I figured since it was part of a very recent free ebook from interweave that they would have updated the pattern. The errata is like 3 years old. But no, no, they have not updated the pattern. So now I have to rip back the whole flower section. But at least now I know it’s not my fault that the flowers wouldn’t lie flat. what’s really hilarious is that in the pattern description it says that every stitch pattern is clearly explained. Hah, my arse it is!
If I see a complicated crochet project without a chart I usually walk away, but this yarn has been sitting in my stash for about 5 years, waiting for the right project and I thought this was it. I still do. So I’m going to give it one last chance.
The photo was taken in the dark, with the tablet, but i just wanted a reminder of how much I have to rip out. Thank you Interweave, I love you too.
